On Tuesday 8th September we launched our new book ‘Gaelic in Edinburgh Through the Centuries’ at Edinburgh University.

We heard about history, education, place-names and literature from the authors and participants (Wilson McLeod, Rob Dunbar, Matthew MacIver, Karen Reid, Jake King and Michel Byrne) and Tawana Maramba sang Gaelic songs connected to Edinburgh. Many thanks to everyone who attended and especially to Màiri Britton, University Gaelic Officer.

The book is available from our website and from the Gaelic Books Council.
