On 22 June we completed our series of events ‘Gaelic in Edinburgh: past, present and future’ for Edinburgh 900 with a Walking Tour of Gaelic Edinburgh.

Ionad Gàidhlig Dhùn Èideann events in 2025
For the second year, we held an Ionad Pop Up event for Seachdain na Gàidhlig in 2025, bringing together people from across the Gaelic community in the city.
We held two sold-out Gaelic immersion days in January and February 2025. Find out more here.

On 1 December we went on a tour around Edinburgh’s old town to find out more about the important sites in the city which are connected to Gaels and to Gaelic.
Latha Mòr na Gàidhlig: On 15 June the Gaelic community came together for the first Latha Mòr na Gàidhlig in Edinburgh. A big, big thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who helped!
