Cruinn Còmhla

[Tionndadh Gàidhlig]

We had a great day at our CRUINN CÒMHLA Gaelic community event on Saturday 15 November! There were activities for everyone, with Gaelic classes in the morning and a range of drop-in activities – everything from singing, games, crafts, books and a reading group, to Gaelic grammar and Gaelic drama workshops, and a packed-out Gaelic psalms workshop.

Thank you to everyone who came and to everyone involved on the day to keep the event running. Thank you also to Bòrd na Gàidhlig who provided support through the Taic Freumhan Coimhearsnachd fund and helped to keep the event open to all.

We will be running further Cruinn Còmhla events in 2026, with the same mix of Gaelic learning, conversation, fun and community. Keep a look out for further information soon!

This event is another step on our journey towards a permanent Gaelic Hub in Edinburgh. However, we cannot do anything without the continued support of the Gaelic community. Please consider joining us as a member of Ionad Gàidhlig Dhùn Èideann, volunteering to help at events or with taking the campaign forward, or signing up for our newsletter to keep up to date with our activities.

Funded with support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
